Hi there,
There’s a big thing going on right now on Instagram where users are uploading images that are split over 3 (or 6 or 9) squares.
So… I’ve decided to create my content in InDesign using the following steps:
1. I take my chosen image, and fit in a square measuring 3240x3240px.
2. I use the MakeGrid script to create a 3×3 grid, every image is now 1080x1080px
3. I need 9 separate JPEG files, so I have to click on them one at a time to export as a JPEG
Is there a script or technique that lets me do step 3 in less clicks?
Thanks!
Solved!
Just export the page as HTML, and you’ll have a folder of images
That’s a great solution. I like it! Can you include a link here to an example?
Thanks!
How do I upload photos to this post? I’ve got some screenshots ready to share :)
We can’t accept uploads on this forum at this time, but perhaps you can put them on imgur or some other image hosting site? Or dropbox?
Cool. I’ll do that tomorrow — it’s home time in London now :D
