I have a long document – a chronology split into three columns Date/Content/Significant highlight. Some of the significant highlights are significant enough for me to want them to appear in the TOC, which I would like to be ordered by Month. Each Month I have placed in a single rectangle object divider spanning all three columns. I set up styles in the TOC to pick up the Month font and the Significant Highlights I want in the TOC – and they all appear but the months are out of order, and many of the pages numbers are off by one. I suspect the TOC is picking by column precedence and that explains the month being grouped together. Does anyone know of a way to fix that please?
