I was wondering if there is a setting or a way to keep the InDesign palette windows open when switching between applications. For example, I need to view the linked file names from the links palette while in my asset manager app. Every time I have InDesign up and my links palette open, then click on my asset manage, the page window stays visible but all my palettes are hidden.
Anyone have a solution to this?
Thanks, Paul
The panels appear to stay “open” when I switch if (and only if) I have them expanded in the dock. That is, not popping out form the dock, and not floating, but in a dock and expanded (click the double-arrows in the upper right corner of the dock)
Definitely not optimal, though.
Thanks David, that did the trick. I had to do one more thing though. Under window, I had to change to application frame from application bar.
Life saver, thanks again.
Paul
