Here is a quick update on where the InDesignSecrets forums are, as of late May…
Our developers told us recently that they were not able to get most of the old forum posts out of the old databases. Apparently, the old system was more messed up than we thought. This new forum software is far better, in some respects, but it’s not entirely compatible with the old system.
HOWEVER, we have tracked down some forum database experts and I am hoping that they will have more luck with it. Believe me, we are trying to salvage as much of the old forum threads as we can, while holding on to these new forum threads from the past 3 or 4 weeks. Technically, it?s just more complicated (and expensive) than any of us thought it would be.
We hope to have some news in the next week or two. Thank you for your patience and your support!
