PR: Typefi announces acquisition of Typefitter from Teacup Software
Typefitter, a popular plug-in for Adobe InDesign and InDesign CC, will now become part of Typefi’s core automated publishing platform.
SIPPY DOWNS, QLD, AUS, and BROOKLYN, NY, USA – Typefi Systems, the global leader in automation software for print, online and mobile publishing, is excited to announce the acquisition of Typefitter from Teacup Software.
Typefitter, a popular Adobe InDesign plug-in with hundreds of users worldwide, automatically finds and corrects text problems with a single click, including text overset, short lines, unbalanced columns and more.

I don’t upgrade to a new version of InDesign until TypeFitter Pro is compatible. I’ve worked with Lawrence over the years to make TFP the great product it is. Hopeful that Typefi keeps TFP the top-tier product it is.
I agree with Jamie . . . TFP is an essential component of InDesign for anyone who does serious type composition. I wish it were not so expensive, because the price keeps ALL of my designer clients from buying it. But, I use it daily and find it indispensable.
@Matt I agree on both points. Essential tool for setting type, but if the price were lower I would have an easier time justifying it to my supervisor.
