New Contest! Mystery of the Hobbled Hyperlinks

Hey folks, it’s time for another InDesign mystery that you can solve for a chance to win an awesome prize!

Here’s the scenario:

You’ve created a lovely layout for an interactive document, complete with several hyperlinks. You can see the hyperlinks are all present and in good working order by the way they appear in the Hyperlinks panel.

You ask a co-worker to output the document to PDF and make sure the hyperlinks are working. But they report back that none of the hyperlinks works in the PDF, even though they all appear to be OK in InDesign.

Why are the hyperlinks not working in the PDF?

This month’s prize is a 1-year subscription to an InDesign plug-in from Teacup Software! There are three great options to choose from: BarcodeMaker (create and edit almost any barcode live in InDesign), DataLinker (link CSV and ODBC data to InDesign and merge as many records as you need), or PatternPack (create custom backgrounds and borders with endless possibilities).

There will be one winner chosen at random from all the correct answers I receive before August 24, 2016

Enter now by emailing your solution to mike at indesignsecrets.com
