New Contest! The Riddle of the Inverted Arrows

Hey folks, it’s time for another InDesign mystery that you can solve for a chance to win an awesome prize!

Here’s the scenario: There are several arrows in your layout with simple arrow heads on one end and solid circles on the other end.

There’s just one problem: all the arrows are pointing the wrong way! They need to point in the opposite directions.

No object styles were used.

So here’s the question: With the arrows selected, how can you reverse the directions of the arrows with one click?

Once you know the solution, email it to me at mike at indesignsecrets.com before Wednesday September 2nd, 2015. At that time, I’ll reveal the answer and choose one winner at random from the correct answers.

And that lucky person will win a 3-month subscription to DTP Tools Cloud!

This is an amazing package of powerful plug-ins including the following:

  • Active Tables: spreadsheet editor capability in InDesign
  • Annotations: load PDF comments and edits back to the source file
  • Blatner Tools Suite: includes Power Styles, Quality Assurance, Text Controls, Fractions, Find Colors, AutoPage, etc
  • Cross-References Pro: if you are producing longer documents with references, you need this plug-in
  • History: save versions within file, go multiple steps back or forward
  • Layer Comps: save layout alternatives within file, essential for multi-output or multi-language workflows, keep everything in sync using one source file
  • Power Groups: because keeping grouped objects on one layer sometimes isn’t the option

Good luck!
