In a perfect world with uninterrupted internet access available everywhere, it’s not hard to imagine web-based forms completely replacing PDF forms. But we don’t live in a perfect world, and as much as I want my internet connection to always be “on,” the reality is that it’s not. So PDF forms will probably continue to be an important tool for gathering information.
