New Contest! The Riddle of the Hidden Characters

Hey folks, it’s time for another InDesign mystery that you can solve for a chance to win an awesome prize!

This month I want to get a LOT of entries, so the mystery is in the form of a little riddle that almost any InDesign user can solve (with a little effort). And I’ll even give you a hint!

Ready? All you have to do is tell me the meaning of this image:

To do so, you’ll have to know what each one of those strange blue marks means. If you need a hint, consult the InDesignSecrets Guide to Special Characters.

Once you know the solution, email it to me at mike at indesignsecrets.com before Thursday July 30th, 2015. At that time, I’ll reveal the answer to the riddle and choose one winner at random from the correct answers.

And that lucky person will win a copy of WordsFlowPro from Em Software!

WordsFlowPro allows you to combine the editing power of Word and Excel with the layout power of InDesign by creating a live link between applications. Changes are intelligently merged with your InDesign content, so work is never duplicated or lost. You can even send changes from InDesign back to Word.

This awesome prize normally costs $300 US, but you can have a chance to win it for FREE by solving this month’s mystery. Good luck!
