Does anyone know how to assign alt text to a simple object created in InDesign object (such as outlined text) and insert it into Articles for read-aloud?
No problem with imported objects, but I don’t see how to do it with objects created in InDesign.
Thanks
Object > Objectexportoptions
I always use Object Export Options, and it works great for placed, imported object like photos and eps logos.
But when I use Object Export Options to assign alt text to objects created in InDesign Objects, like rectangles or outlined text, they won’t read aloud in Acrobat when I make a PDF. All imported objects read aloud just fine in Acrobat.
What am I doing wrong?
Hm, I have no idea, what the problem is. I use this function, when I tag objects for EPUB. However, it seems, that the tagging get wrong in your situation. Any possibilty to inspect the alt-text in Acrobat and find the difference?
