My biggest current project is the design and typesetting of a 10-volume set of reference books, which I’ll also be indexing. I’m planning on using the Sonar Bookends plugin, and since this is my first time out with this particular plugin I’m interested in hearing anyone’s experience with it on a large project. Caveats, quirks and gotchas would be great to know about going in.
In particular, the task of merging all of the individual volume indices into a single master index, which will be produced in its own volume along with a master glossary and an alphabetical list of article titles, is one I’d love to get some input on.
I’d love to hear some feedback on this too.
I’ll keep you posted! In fact, I’m starting to think that the whole experience may turn into an article here or on CreativePro.
Look forward to it.
