Are descriptive Alt Tags required for images to get approved by Apple and Amazon?
The book is done (thanks to Anne-Marie Concepción and her awesome Lynda.com videos!) and I did not realize that I might need to have descriptive Alt Tags for images in my files. I know how to do this in InDesign, however it is ca.1,000 pages and a graphic heavy fixed layout book…this would be a huge time investment I would like to avoid. SIDE NOTE: the book would not cater to the visually impaired since it is a graphic based programming system that requires visual senses due to the structure of the software (Scratch.mit.edu).
Any insight would be well appreciated!
