InDesign CC 2015.4 (fixed-layout ePUB)
Audition CC 2015.2
Windows 10
I’m working on an audio book in which the client wants each word on the page to highlight, in synch with the spoken word on the audio file.
I know that Audition supports adding markers to a sound clip at various positions along the timeline. I thought of putting a marker before each word, or every few words on the audio file. Then I wondered if I could get InDesign to animate a semi-transparent rectangle shape to reposition the shape over the (text) word and stay in synch with the corresponding spoken word, by reading the marker’s position.
Can this be done OR is there a better way to do this?
