Over the past month, whenever I export to PDF it fails a number of times before eventually exporting correctly. Nothing’s changed with my setup, it just started to happen with documents I’ve used for a while.
If when exporting, I rename the PDF to something else, to exports fine.
I’ve searched the Adobe forums, and I cannot find a simple solution. I just want it to start working again!
Hi Sanjit
We have also experienced this issue in Indesign and what sorts the problem out is re-linking the images. Sometimes one of the images are corrupt as well, which causes this.
Not sure if it will work when working locally on your harddrive, as we work from a database.
Regards
Have you tried exporting the InDesign file as IDML, reopening the IDML and exporting it again as PDF. I hope this will resolve the issue. In case not, try checking the images as Edwin suggested.
Hi Masood,
I am replying years after your post, but thought I would respond in case anyone else is looking for a solution. I tried many different things to fix this issue, and nothing worked until I came upon your post. I did as you suggested, and it worked perfectly. Thank you!
