I am using Comic Sans 10pt regular in my document. I have never had a problem until now. Some of the font appears correctly but others have a bold look, but are not according to indesign CC 2014.
Where do they appear bold? On screen? In print?
they appear bold on screen and when I export to PDF. I also tried exporting to EPUB fixed layout and it appears just as it is on screen. My other 5 books have the same font and they are OK. Should I send a sample?
I wonder if it accidentally has a stroke around it? LIke this: https://creativepro.com/fake-a-missing-type-style.php
Apparently, the stroke was the problem. The good pages had stroke weight of zero and miter of 4. (align stroke was not highlighted. The bad had a weight of 1 and miter 4. and align stroke to outside. I was not able to do anything with that. When I export now everything is perfect in itunes. On the screen, it looks a little washed out, but I can live with that.
