Hi!
I’m still suffering from an age-old Indesign problem on Windows, unfortunately. When Googling, you find lots of old topics on the subject, but none of the solutions have ever worked for me.
The problem is about the ‘bolding’ and ‘jagging’ of text on spreads with transparency. For some reason, it not only messed up the font rendering within Indesign, but also when exporting it to PDF and viewing that in Acrobat.
Here are two images displaying the problem. The first is on a page without transparency, the second on a page with transparency.

Also, as you might be able to see in the first image, even on pages without transparency the fond rendering on Windows is not ideal. It is better than the default renderer due to the fact that I’m using MacType, but it’s still not ideal. Does anybody have any tips on how to improve font rendering quality on Windows?
Thank you in advance.
