I have this text box with a GREP style where it finds chinese characters/words (inside an english document) and change them into its respective chinese font.
If there are two chinese words, the space in between is my english font (arial). I was wondering if theres a way to have the spaces between the chinese words to be the chinese font?
Any suggestions
You might be able to use the the grep codes in this article, along with positive lookahead and positive lookbehind to do it:

Like, “find all spaces that have a Chinese character before and a Chinese character after”
Have you investigated the Composite Font Editor in the ME and CJK versions of InDesign? That might save some time and GREPing in future.
Chris.
Thank you for both advice.
