I need to replace end of story markers (#) with frame breaks. Does anyone have a find/change GREP expression that would work? Thank you in advance for your help!
I suppose you could do a grep search for (.)\Z
and replace with $1~R
That would search for the last character in the story then replace it with the same character plus a frame break character. That way, if you later thread the frames together, the text would stay in their same frames, right?
Oh, and also, if you’re trying to auto-thread a bunch of frames together, don’t forget Text Stitch: https://www.rorohiko.com/wordpress/indesign-downloads/textstitch/
This worked perfectly. Just what I needed. Thank you!!
