HI,
In the previous version of Indesign, when I would drag an image inside a frame, the part of the image that wasn’t currently in the frame would be ghosted. Now, all of the image appears at 100% opacity so it makes it hard to see which part of the image is in the frame until I deselect it. Does anyone know how to get Indesign to display images like it did previously? I can’t seem to find where to turn on this option.
Thanks,
Cindy in Indy
That is annoying, isn’t it? It appears that it is a “benefit” from the GPU Performance feature:

If you disable GPU Performance, the ghosting comes back!
David to the rescue! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. I unclicked that feature and I am back to seeing my image cropping as I wanted.
xxoo
Ta!!! One chip forward, two steps backward. Great post, David.

All said, Adobe should be able to give you the visual fx it provides like this with GPU controlling it. Oy.
That’s strange. Works fine for me *with* GPU performance turned on. Even if it solves it, it must be something else.
