Hi,
I’m using, as stated in the title, InDesign CC2017 and, quite extensively, the MathMagic Pro 9.3 plugin to directly type equations into documents. I’m a student and I use InDesign as a word editor, so my documents are usually composed of one “master” text frame that is threaded for all the pages in the document; and there are a lot of equations. I’ve done this for a while without any issues, using a combination of CC2014 and MathMagic 9.2.
However, since I upgraded the two pieces of software, I experienced some heavy performance drops. It seems the more there are equations, the more InDesign gets slower (I’m talking here of about 5-6 seconds delay when type “backspace”, for example).
Does anyone have any suggestion as to, let’s say, a certain element in the preferences of one or both software I could tweak in order to boost performance? Or any other idea? That would be very appreciated as the current form is not workable. Thanks.
