I have created an EPUB that was migrated from a print book in InDesign. I have 98% of the work done. TOC and Index both work. I have been through Anne Marie’s EPUB courses on Lynda.com. I am using the latest version of ID (2017) on a Mac. The output EPUB file validates without any red flags

However, my output file has some graphics issues that need advice from someone who knows more than I know. I have an EPS file that is placed as an icon at the end of every chapter. (There are 41 chapters.) As far as I can tell, I have placed the same exact graphic the exact same way at the end of every chapter. In the output EPUB,some chapters have the icon exactly like I would expect. However, some chapter endings have horizontal lines before or after the icon. Some chapters have a blank page after the icon, but most don’t. I have tried adding a text anchor, but with or without the anchor, some chapters look fine, some have issues.

I also have some questions with keep options in some of my paragraph styles when exported as an EPUB.

I may only need a part of an hour, but would like to hire someone for one hour who can interface with me using Dropbox and Skype (or Go to Meeting/JoinMe, etc.) You, obviously, need to know InDesign export issues inside and out. Also, I am sure that my issues could be easily fixed by cracking the EPUB and tweaking the CSS. However, I don’t mess with CSS at all and would like to fix all the issues in InDesign. If you would like to help, please email me: [email protected], and let me know what your hourly rate is.
