Learn / Forums / InDesign Add-ons (Scripts, Scripting, and Plug-ins) / Indexing from the Word List
Hi experts,
I have 1200 pages book and generate the Index from the Wordlist (1500 words) which is provided in the text file. I don’t want to apply the character/para style on that 1500 words one by one which is obvious take a longer time.
I had gone through the script index_topics_list.jsx by the Peter but it’s not working. We are not able to afford the 3rd party plugin IndexMatic.
Is it any script to read those words from the text file and generate the Index for this long document.
Your precious time will help me to take out from this swamp.
Thanks in Advance.
Amit
You posted this in the Adobe’s InDesign forum as well. See the response there.
