Hello
I have searched for a clear answer to this question: If I add animation to my InDesign cookbook, and export as mobi, will those animations still be working?
I don’t think you can export it as a Mobi. I exported as an epub and then converted it to mobi using Kindle previewer. If you want to animate a mobi, you have to use Amazon’s special programs.
I used Textbook Creator to export for audio, and I think you have to use either the children’s book creator or the comic book creator to add animations.
You really should call Amazon’s publishing department. They can tell you which is the best program to use.
Thanks Janis, sorry I mixed up my question, yes you are right, export to epub FXL then convert to mobi. I’ll probably use calibre instead of kindle previewer.
If I add a pop up in indesign, will it be active in mobi after the above process?
