Varun, do you mean words that are inside InDesign? Or you are trying to create a glossary inside InDesign? I don’t really understand. How can we help?

Sorry David, I think i did not mentioned properly what i want.
1. I am not trying to create a glossary inside InDesign?
2. i want to know the meaning of terms/words. Like Zero field Area, Leaf, Sink, Embedded and other you people know !!!e.g. Given example i want to know about gutter.
Word : Description
Gutter : Gutter is sometimes used to refer to the alley or space between columns of text in a page layout.I think there are lots of words, help me to find them.

Wow, that is a big question. There are so many terms in InDesign, I think the best solution is usually to search our site or the Adobe site for what things are.
We started something similar to this years ago:
https://creativepro.com/the-not-so-ultimate-guide-to-translating-quarkxpress-terms-to-indesign-terms.phpHowever, some of your terms are surprising to me… leaf? sink? zero field area? Where do you see these in InDesign?

Hi David,
I regularly read your website previous and latest post…
#1 I found this one in your website too: “Sink”
https://creativepro.com/compositing-skills.php
I want this with a preview. to see how it looks. If i am correct this is Indesign “First Baseline Option”.#2 I found this: “Leaf” or “Leaves”
A page is one side of a leaf of paper.#3 zero field area:
i can get this one cause but some guys told me that this is zero tolerance area found in running head, footnote.
i personally thought that was wrong or i get it wrong way…and i see your and Anne-Marie lynda videos of indesign secrets, can’t access all of them but they are great.
“Hope they are unlocked :)”Thanks for your help.

Ah! I see what you mean. Those are all general graphic design terms, not specific to InDesign.
As for the movies being unlocked… I can understand your desire, but of course please remember that this is how we make our living. If everything were free, then we would not be able to afford running this web site, and doing the free work we do. :-)
