  Hello, we need to format every bit of a certain paragraph style with a series of nested styles.
  
  The setup is as follows: 2 words // right indent tab // 2 more words // price.
  
  We cannot get the nested style to respond to the right indent tab, however. All the other formatting works.
  It also doesn’t respond if we change the right indent tab to an ordinary tab character.
  
  Help would be appreciated, thanks! :-)

  Sounds like you have a Character format already set which is over riding your nested style.
  Select the text and set the character format to NONE.
  
  Your nested style works OK for me, one style through one TABm second style through one TAB (this will be the second tab) then a third style through one sentence.
