I am learning how to set up a baseline grid and am having trouble with:
– changing where the baseline grid begins. I’ve tried to set it to stop at the margin but it only does that on 2/4 sides.
-adding columns to baseline grids on the master page.
– throughout the process I can’t figure out how to specify in anything but points or inches and where exactly where I do that. I don’t use picas or milimeters-do I have to learn or is there a way to specify what I need in units that I’m familiar with (points or inches)?.
I hope I’m being clear I’m pretty confused!
Some how I figured out laying out the grid (although I can’t quite remember).
I’m also trying to figure out how to change the increment of the grids. This link shows what I’ve come up with. This link shows what I’ve come up with. https://imgur.com/a/a37Soss.
Thanks pnamajck.
I’m getting the hang of it but having trouble with setting up the margin according to an aspect ratio. I am not familiar using points except for type and I have no clue about picas. I’ve looked for tutorials on setting up a aspect ratios and can’t find a single one. I’ve found an intermediate level one (Nigel French) but it is assumed that I understand both the concept of aspect ratio and why I should utilize one.
Thanks in advance
