      I lost the settings on objects, graphic frames that put offset space/padding (i don’t know what the terminology is here) around each object like:

      a line
      a photo frame
      a photo caption
      a graphics frame/object

      I guess it’s a type of text wrap but it’s an automatic default? object style that automatically puts that little bit of padding outside each item that is not regular body text. it puts space between everything and keeps headlines and body text from being too close to those objects above.

      it was showing up as a light blue dashed line around those objects/frames but i’ve lost those settings.

      Can anyone help, please advise?

      Thank you

      Window->Text Wrap

      Window->Styles->Object Styles

      Make sure the default Object Style is what you want (no text wrap, etc.)

      That panel is helpful for setting up the different types of frames you want in a document.

      thank you. unfortunately, yeah, i know that window, what i don’t know is what settings to do/set to get where i used to be, which had default padding offset around every object frame and line.

      i have no idea what to do from there.

      sorry if i wasn’t more specific.

      It’s okay. got the answer over at adobe forums now.

      thanks

      ….”If you want text wrap applied to all objects then set it with nothing selected.”

      finally…not that adobe’s poorly organized forums, terrible search engine helped. an actual person did
