Lately when I mess with Object Layer Styles I get a warning box when I click on a layer.

      It says,

      “Something Went Wrong!

      Try restarting InDesign.

      If restarting doesn’t help,
      feel free to contact me.

      Regards,
      Marijan.”

I put in a help request via Adobe’s Twitter page. I was curious if anyone else has seen this. And maybe have a solution to it.

I’ve never seen a warning box like that. And who is Marijan?

Are you using some sort of layers plug-in?

Marjian probably refers to Marijan Tompa who used to run the site tomaxxi.com where you could download a bunch of cools scripts. My guess is that you or someone downloaded and installed one of his scripts that no longer works.

Ah, that makes sense. Maybe something got corrupted. I do have some tomaxxi scripts and plugins. There is a layer plugin and maybe that started to compete with the object layer options for some reason.

I recently moved to a new Mac and I’ve found various bugs between Sierra and CC2017. I usually don’t have any problems with upgrades.
