      Hi. I’d be grateful for advice on a time-critical project that I’m working on. Was asked to design a magazine in English. Was then asked to set the magazine in Arabic (text from a Word file). At first glance, once text was flowed into Indesign, it looked arabic, but wasn’t. Found Adobe World-Ready Paragraph Composer, which has done the trick for alpha characters, but not numeric characters. Any ideas on how to resolve? Thanks.

      Not sure if this is the same issue but when I copy paste Chinese text from Word sometimes the font gets screwed up. Check the numerals are in the correct font? You could also try experimenting with various Arabic fonts or make sure Indesign is using the same font that was working in Word.

      Hi Caroline,

      You need to install middle east Indesign version then you will find (Adobe World-Ready Paragraph Composer) and (Adobe World-Ready single-line Composer) from Paragraph Panel. also reverse layout option will be in layout panel.
