Maybe this is an InDesign topic??? I apologize up front for not knowing, but for now, you are my group of people-who-know-more-than-I-do.
I need to produce something similar to the demo located at https://www.proofhq.com/proofhq-self-guided-demo/. Could it be done in InDesign? I could probably fake it in PowerPoint. Or do you think they used an e-learning application?
I’m embarrassed, but have neither pride nor shame, nor time to go down multiple wrong paths.
Thanks to all,
Peggy
Most of that could be done in InDesign and exported to Publish Online or Fixed Layout EPUB. You could also use in5 from ajarproduction.com to export as HTML and put on a web site. Some stuff would be clunkier… the only thing I can’t see how to do immediately is scrolling the screenshot up and down, though it’s probably possible.
It’s certainly not what InDesign was made for, but it could probably work. :-)
I think I saw a bit of that at last year’s PePcon, so maybe my brain wasn’t totally making things up. It’s very static-y; just one thing popping up on top of another thing, then going away. I do appreciate your thoughts, David. Thank you for taking a look – I’m going to go for it.
