Dear Frds,
I’m working on IDML file automation. My Requirement is to showcase IDML template in HTML5 editor.
I have simple TextFrame with “Hello World” Text. I saved file as “sample.idml”.
Now, i made unzip of “sample.idml” got few files. gone to “stories folder” & opened “story_d8.xml”
Since i’m developer, i did same throgh java and exposed file path as REST call.
Now biggest stop point is “Jquery / angularJS” script saying “invalid file”.
Can someone suggest below point
1. get “Content” data using javascript (Jquery/AngularJS)
2. Put “Demo Hellow” in “Content” and regenerate “story_d8.xml” (In javascript)
3. Is this correct approach ? Any other alternative to this approach ?
I do not have an answer for you (perhaps someone else here does), but I will say that this is the kind of information that developers will be talking about at The Creative Developers Summit in Chicago next month ( https://pepcon.com/creativedevsummit.html )
