I’m trying to create an underline in various rows in charts. I’d like to use a “shortcut” key – however, I’ve gone through the web and it doesn’t seem possible.
Even when I try programing “cell styles” I get nothing.Any suggestions?
Thanks

Something is going wrong. Do you have to create the cell style before the table? I’ve done it just like the graphic you have in your post. Possible InDesign CC bug? I’m running 11.4.1.102

You can create either one first. But you need after you’ve created your cell style, you need to select the cells you want to apply the style to, and then apply the cell style. The order of creation should not matter.
Can you post a screen shot?

Sorry, your screenshots aren’t showing up. Can you tell me where in the process it’s not working?

Well I go through the cell style and program it the way I want it. Then, when I click on a row and hit the command key or the “underline” in the cell style flyout box, the 2 to 3 cells on the left turn white, and absolutely no underline appears.
