      Specs: Indesign 11.4.1.102 x64 – Windows 10
I would like to have a script run on some specific indd documents when I click on and open them. Now, I’ve found online discussions of the actual code/scripts that do this. I’ve found the basis for a script that even targets specifically named documents – BUT none of these discussions give me a clear place to put the scripts so they run immediately upon opening the targeted document… I’m assuming it does not go here: Username>AppData>Roaming>Adobe>InDesign>Version 11.0>en_US>Scripts>Script Panel? So where does it go? Thanks for any help with this!

I see an answer here that might help: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/588551

Andre, I also found this: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1147434 – which is equally helpful, except I don’t understand what they’re saying here, “Then try this line on a document and save it, then open the same file and some other others, you will notice that this code only excuted on that document:” Does this line, app.activeDocument.label = “alert (\”Yes\”);”; go in the first script they give or somewhere else?

Thanks Andre! (my son’s name btw) I will try using the location they mention. And if anyone else has advice, I’m all ears.
