I found this script
https://kasyan.ho.com.ua/indesign/export/export_to_incopy.html
But it doesn’t seem to work with InDesign CC2018. It will create a folder but it doesn’t contain any stories.
I’ve tried to modify without success. I’d like to be able to export stories on a text layer so that it will ignore folios and other text that the editor won’t need to touch.
Does anyone have a script like this or better? Thanks for the help.
Why do you need a script for this? You can export all stories on a layer directly from the UI?!
Ah, I see. There is an export layer option. I didn’t see that at first.
Now I can create a text layer and just export the text that I need the editor to work on.
