I thought this would be an easy script to find, but I cannot find one, or one that can be adapted easily.

I can create hyperlink destinations (text anchor) for each of the terms , sometimes a 2 or 3 word phrase, in a dictionary of terms.

When a term is used elsewhere in the book it it in an italic character style with a unique name term-ref-italic.

What I am looking for is a script that, for every term in the term-ref-italic style, created a hyperlink with the same word as the hyperlink destination. It’s easy enough to do manually, but with a few hundred references a script would be preferred.

      Thanks

        HI Michel,

I am new member and I need similar kind of script as you have shown in demo. Do you also do customisation, if required.

Please suggest here or you can write to me at [email protected]

        Thanx

Hi Jim, there is a script that converts the URLs to hyperlinks. I will provide the link tomorrow.

      Many thanks, Masood.
But I don’t have URLs to start with, so I don’t think this approach will work.

In any case, I’ve had to move on from this idea. I found that the words in italic that I wanted to link were not consistently formatted, for a number of reasons and with over 6000 entries, too much manual work would be involved.

      Appreciate the help, thanks.
