scrollable frames and buttons

Is it possible to hide a scrollable frame until it is triggered? Ex. create a scrolframe and a square. Convert both to buttons, so that the frame is hidden until the square is clicked. If you preview this, only the frame is visible, not the square. As I see it, it’s the snippet (html code) on the page (making the scrollable frame) that causes this. Someone a clue for this?
