Learn / Forums / InDesign Add-ons (Scripts, Scripting, and Plug-ins) / Selecting Multiple text Frames on ONE layer only
Hi,
I’m trying to find a way to select all the text frames on one layer only. I know I can run the SelectObjects.jsx which picks them out on all layers and then just move the objects from the layer in question to a new layer but I’m adding features to company templates and I want to make it as easy as possible for the staff who aren’t all InDesign experts. Anyone know of a script out there?
Thanks
Justine
Hi.
I need a script that do it…
Indesign CS6
active document.
Find from
all text frames (p.style NAME 1)
all text frames (p.style NAME 2)
Move to specifically
Layer (NAME a)
Layer (Name b)
Is it possible?
Help me
Regards
Hi,
A cool friend [ I hope he is! ;-) ] wrote sooner:
“That is possible, but it would take some time to develop, so I would have to charge for it. Please contact me…”
