When I draw a text frame which is fairly narrow (say less that 10mm in height) there are no frame handles on the side to allow making the frame wider? It seems if I make a tall thin frame then the narrow (top and bottom sides) do have frame handles to allow height adjustment. Why are vertical frames treated differently than horizontal frames – or am I missing something basic here?

      Hi Kim,

if you draw narrow textframes, the side handles are there as well, but: They are overlapped by the in- and outport for textthreading. So the trick is, to click (hold) and drag on the outport. If you click and don’t hold the mouse, you will get the place cursor or a new linked textframe. So this is a bit tricky ;-)

Notice also, that is a difference if you click, hold and drag immediatly or if you click, hold, wait a second and drag then …
