Static endnotes InDesign 2020 and Peter Kahrel’s magic

      Hi everyone, I came late to CC and jumped straight from CS6 (so loved it) to CC 2020. Yesterday I started setting the first book in 2020 and was horrified that the endnotes were not static as I have to gather them all together in a section at the end of each book – like many people I’ve read about on InDesign Secrets. So I found Peter Kahrel’s hiding place on Creative Pro and downloaded his script end_to_static_2018.jsx. I’m only half way through the book but it’s absolutely fabulous, works brilliantly. So I just had to let you know. Such a relief! Thanks to InDesignSecrets for having such a fab and huge selection of everything InDesign.

      Thank you for letting us know, Ann! Yes, Endnotes are a “work in progress” for InDesign. I hope the team continues to improve them over time.
