I have two columns of text that need to have two columns of footnotes underneath. Is there a way to make the footnote columns even (the top of both footnote columns should start at the same place on page)?
I don’t think you can do this with footnotes. But endnote frames can be placed everywhere on your page, though it may be a little time consuming to put that all together …

Thank you for your help, I guess that’s what I’ll have to do. The issue with doing it this way is that the frames need to be manually adjusted to have the correct footnote references in the text match up with their notes on the same page.
You have the freedom to place the endnote frames wherever you want them (even at the top of the page), but it may be a lot of work (and re-work if there are text changes).
Yes the correct footnote in the text matchup to place the right frames but first i have to done my work at
