      Hello everyone!

I started my InDesign journey about eight or nine years ago. In that time, I’ve created many books and magazines, and had many questions along the way. There are two sources I turn to when I have an InDesign question: InDesign Secrets and Lynda.com.

I’m about to start a Kickstarter campaign that is the culmination of years of design, learning, more design, and more learning: A seven volume set of illustrated religious books that took me about six months to scan, clean up, edit and design.

I wanted to personally thank some of the people who helped me along the way, even though I’ve never met any of them:

David Blatner, who offered the InDesign training that got me up and running FAST! Anne-Marie Concepcion, who, along with David, gave me tips and tricks every week, as well as helping me learn to make InDesign work with Microsoft Word! Mike Rankin, who showed me many more tips and tricks, that helped in the little details that always seem to crop up! and Nigel French, whose straightforward teaching method seemed designed to make me learn faster and better!

I know you probably get many people thanking you day in and day out, so let me add one more!

One of my favorite quotes is: “Having a compliment and not saying it is like wrapping present and not giving it!” So in that vein, I want to say to all of you:

      T H A N K Y O U !!!!!! :-)

John, I truly appreciate that gift! Thank you for letting us know. And much good luck to you for your project! Post or send us some pictures from the design.

Thank you so much, John! I like that saying, too.

It’s always good to know that our writings and videos are having a direct, positive impact. I write my own thanks to authors too, with that in mind!
